The team at Dynamic Chiropractic in Hurstville have been very busy and we would like to share with you what we have been up to! When choosing which Chiropractic Clinic to go, don't you want one that is giving everything their all?
We started off August with World breastfeeding Week! We had the lovely Tania from Shire Midwifery come to the clinic and educate some patients on breastfeeding tricks and troubleshooting common issues that come along with breastfeeding.

Dr Amy went on an excursion to a clinic in Chatswood to help with the Australian Chiropractors Association for their night of mentorship and mastery- a night mostly for Chiropractic students and new graduates and Paediatric care. Did you know that at a University level, the students hardly get any knowledge and education when it comes to looking after little ones? This is why it is so important to see someone that has had additional training (and it isn't them "winging" paediatric care). This is another reason why we want Dynamic Chiropractic to be the best in Hurstville as our team have such a high level of education and care for pregnancy and paediatric patients.
We also had something very exciting pop up and Dr Amy was asked to join Simon and Lachy (the red and purple wiggle) on the Wiggles Talk Podcast. They discussed all things toddlers and physical activity as well as going onto the wiggles set and create some videos showing parents how to lift their toddlers off the floor without hurting themselves! The podcast will come out some time mid September so when it does- you can expect an email from us so that you can check it out.
Boda Soul the local Pilates studio in Oatley have their spring challenge underway and Dr Amy came in for a Workshop about the Brain Body and Biomechanics where Nicole the owner and Amy created a pilates class that was targeting optimal function. From improving back movement, improving balance and wrapping things up with a rapid relaxation. It was a great way to kick into spring!

Dynamic Chiropractic also teamed up with Mater Dei Catholic Primary school and donated some non-fiction and science books to their local library. What a better way to shape young inquisitive minds with some new books of interest! The school also did a call out for Nappy donations and partnered with Dynamic Chiropractic which are a yearly collection point for The Nappy Collective. This organisation help typically women that have escaped domestic violence that are short of clean nappies for their little ones. The great thing is that the donations do not need to be brand new and sealed. So if you have a handful of nappies that are too small that have been sitting in your boot- feel free to drop them off here and we can give them to those in need! For us the standard of being the best clinic we can possibly be also means that we need to prioritise healthcare and community initiatives. We would not be where we are without our Hurstville community.
Finally to wrap the update is that Dr Yiyao and Dr Amy went to the Connect and Learn event for Women's health week with Dr Amy being one of two speakers for the night. The theme was pregnancy being a window to future health and her presentation was how Aquatic exercise complements Chiropractic care during pregnancy.
So- if you are ever wondering where you can get the best pregnancy care and paediatric care for you and your family, Dynamic Chiropractic is a top candidate! Through our passion for education, advocacy, and community work- your health is in great hands with us!
